RecruitOnline now includes one-way video interviews - built into the ATS, not bolted on beside it. Recruiters set the questions on the job, candidates record in the agency’s branded candidate portal, and completed interviews come back to an awaiting-review inbox on the same record as everything else.

Video interviews, inside the platform

Here’s how it works:

  • Questions per job. Each question can be answered by video, by text, or either - with a time limit per question, a preparation countdown (and a start-now option), attempt limits, and an optional text alternative. AI can draft the question set from the job, ready for the recruiter to edit.
  • A branded candidate experience. Candidates receive a secure email link and record in the agency-branded candidate portal on any device - no separate app, no account setup.
  • Review and share. Completed interviews queue in an awaiting-review inbox, candidates can be compared side by side, and a completed interview can be shared with the client alongside the candidate’s profile.
  • Private by design. Recordings are stored privately with signed playback and purged after a retention period - 90 days as standard - with text answers and the audit trail kept. Nothing is automated unless it’s switched on: candidate reminders are opt-in.

And the pricing is public, because we think that’s how usage pricing should work: 50 completed interviews are included each month, then $2.50 AUD per completed interview. A completed interview means one candidate submitting one interview - incomplete or expired invitations are never billed, and retakes within an interview are included. There’s no separate video-interview subscription; it’s part of the flat platform fee.

AI review of interviews - transcripts and an assistive summary - is being added next. It will be opt-in, and it will never auto-reject a candidate.

Also in this release

Branded candidate presentations. Turn a candidate record into a polished, agency-branded presentation - AI-drafted summaries, privacy controls to hide contact details or the current employer, versioning, and client-ready delivery through secure referral links.

Client submissions, tracked. Submit candidates to multiple client contacts with branded messaging and secure review pages - no client login needed - with views and decisions tracked back to the record, plus submission reports and dashboard widgets.

Experience feedback. Built-in NPS and CSAT surveys triggered from real recruitment moments - opt-in only - with low-score alerts to managers and comment theming, so agencies can measure the experience they deliver, not just the placements they make.

Talent rediscovery. AI matching that resurfaces existing database candidates for new jobs, with the match reasons shown and one-click add to the job - so the database gets worked before the ad budget does.

All of it runs on the same database as the rest of the platform - no new logins, no sync, no extra subscriptions. Book a demo to see the release on a sample of your own roles.
